somethign I piddled with over the summer

I was interested in patterns. I still am just don't have the time for it at the moment. But these were some serif shapes I drew and scanned in, and from there they turned into these....

Color me finished, I have had it.

I am so done with this project, I just don't feel it in me anymore. This is it.

Eh? Still working on the type for the header. I know the background is very similar to what i did on an assistants poster last year, but i'm kinda stuck atm as what to do with the background. That was why I lost interest in drawing comics, I liked drawing figures, but everything else to me was just....ugh. no interest in it. Terrbile, I know.

More moda

This was my first idea a few weeks back..using words of thigns you can't live without.
Food, water, air...but then add in things like straws, tickets, etc...the odd objects in red (pantone 185c) and all the owrds spell out "LOVE NESTS" in stacked type.

This is one direction I was thinking. the use of a photo composition with a nest texture over it. I really like the lines, I think it gives it an organic feel..the red texture is something I was trying just to do something different. I am trying to include more illustration in my stuff now, there is really no reason why I should not be drawing.
