more wonderroot, goes on and on...

more color options... I think I will end up with blue or orange...

Being John Milam.

SO I have been experimenting with trying to make textures. This time, I used washes of watercolor and india ink, along with items from the cabinets(oatmeal, salt, and rubbing alcohol). I thought it was really odd they way the rubbing alcohol interacts with the ink, leaving those wierd white splotches.
Anywhoo, just trying some new stuffs.

more color explorations. ugh. I really want to avoid green, there is far too much of that going on in my portfolio atm.

wonderroot

color options here. not feeling set on any of em at the moment, except maybe the blue, or the orange-ish one.

the tree...so far.

Yea, its rough image wise, but it does what I need it to do. This was a pretty good idea afterall. No matter how many lists i make of what I have /want to show, seeing it all lined up like this definitely gives me a better idea of what to put in, whats missing, etc.
I am definitely missing something print/editorial wise. Maybe I should now do some form of brochure, or article spread like we did in Illustration class. I would like to add in another package design, too.

I need to mark this down
